How is pay calculated for pilots?
As per rates effective Jan 2016 and the new TA.
- Blended rates effective Jan 2016.
- International overrides for flights to/from all international destinations except Canada - but including Hawaii.‡
- Per-Diem as per contract. Premium per-diem not supported at this time.
Which fleets are supported?
There's support for A320, 747, 777, 787, 757/767 and 737.
Other pay-rates will be added as the aircraft is added to United flying.
When I click on 'Calc $$' link, CCS Max complains about pay rate/longevity not found?
Visit page 1 of the pay register page for the current month. Your position, pay-rate and longevity is saved (remember to then log off from CCS).
If your pay-rate or longevity is not captured, you can override it at the bottom of the same page. The changed values will be used until you re-visit the page.
Pay does not seem to be correct what do I do?
Make sure you've visited the master-schedule page (for EQUIP code) and pay-register page (for POS + RATE + LONGEVITY) and
verify they're correct. If you had a POS, EQUIP, LONGEVITY and/or RATE change (e.g. anniversary), you need to re-visit the pages.
And of course, don't forget to log off from CCS when done.
The pay based on longevity seems to be off by one year?
CCS Max versions earlier than Firefox v3.11/Chrome v2.5, calculations were off by 1 year. Many users overrode the longevity in the pay-reg page. This needs to be reset now - just visit the page and then log off from CCS.
Basically longevity equals completed years (i.e. first year, new hires will have a longevity of 0).
Can I calculate pay at 150% rate (i.e. SRM trips)?
Yes hold the Ctrl key down while clicking on the link.
